Arts & Culture

Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is featured at Music Hall, as well as the May Festival Chorus and Cincinnati Opera. Summer months bring the symphony outdoors to the banks of the Ohio River for programs at Riverbend Music Center, which also presents a variety of popular, rock and folk artists throughout the year.

Major Broadway productions are a feature of The Aronoff Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Cincinnati. The Aronoff is also home to the Cincinnati Ballet.

In the charming hills close to downtown rests Eden Park, home to the nationally recognized Playhouse in the Park and The Cincinnati Art Museum, one of the 10 finest general art museums in the United States. Krohn Conservatory is home to 1,500 specimens of tropical plants and seasonal floral displays.

Sports & Recreation

Major league fans flock to Great American Ballpark to see the Cincinnati Reds, baseball’s first professional team. Also located on the riverfront is Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals. If you prefer participating, the Hamilton County Park District system has golf, tennis, hiking, jogging, swimming and more. Other sports include several thoroughbred racetracks, the Tennis Masters Series Cincinnati in Mason and the Kentucky Speedway in Northern Kentucky.

Recognized by Parents Magazine as one of the top 10 zoos for kids, the Cincinnati Zoo is a mecca for animal lovers of all ages. And for those who like a little more interaction, the Newport Aquarium displays water-loving plants and animals in a friendly and engaging environment. Paramount King’s Island is the number one seasonal theme park in the United States with more than 80 rides and attractions.
