Free Women & Cancer Seminar Offered at West Chester Hospital

West Chester, OH – More than 230,000 women and 2,100 men in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, according to the National Cancer Institute. In addition, newly diagnosed cases of endometrial cancer, a common female cancer, have increased to well over 36,000 in 2011. As these numbers continue to grow, it is important for women to know as much as possible about the cancers that affect themselves, their daughters, mothers, sisters and friends.

On Saturday, January 28, West Chester Hospital will present a free seminar featuring the region’s leading physician specialists, who will discuss cancers that affect women, including breast, cervical, endometrial, ovarian, uterine and other female reproductive system cancers. Participants will learn how to recognize early signs and symptoms, and receive important information about early detection, prevention, diagnosis, and surgical and non-surgical treatments for various types of cancer.

WHEN: Saturday, January 28, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
