A FREE Breastfeeding Support and Encouragement Group

NOTICE: Baby Café is suspended through February 2022.

West Chester Hospital is proud to be a part of Baby Café USA, an international nonprofit organization that provides support for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Baby Café offers encouragement and education in all aspects of breastfeeding and its impact on daily life—from prenatal to weaning—as well as assistance with latching, pumping, and increasing or maintaining breast milk supply.

West Chester Hospital’s Baby Café is facilitated by a board-certified lactation consultant and other nurses who specialize in the care of infants. With their training and experience in helping breastfeeding moms and babies, you can discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

Baby Cafe’ will not be held at West Chester Hospital at this time due to COVID precautions related to visitor restrictions within the hospital.
All mothers are welcome to attend the Baby Cafe-Hamilton group.

When: Every Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (closed on holidays)

Where: Primary Health Solutions Journey Wellness Center (across the hall from the WIC office)

Baby Café Offers:

  • Professional lactation specialists.
  • A variety of educational topics.
  • The opportunity to meet other mothers to share tips and socialize.
  • A relaxed and fun atmosphere.
  • Refreshments at every session.

Mothers and children are welcome.

Preregistration is not required for this location.

Mothers are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Snacks will not be provided.

Participants over 2 will need to wear a face mask to participate.

Strollers are permitted.

You are welcome to join us at Baby Café every week or for as long as you need breastfeeding support. Some moms come regularly; others just come when they have a particular question or breastfeeding challenge.

*Baby Café USA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization coordinating a network of licensed drop-in U.S. Baby Cafés. All Baby Cafes follow standards set by the organization, collect statistical data, and increase opportunities to reduce health disparities nationwide.
