Bipolar Disorder is Focus of May 4 Symposium

CINCINNATI — “Bipolar Disorder: A Comprehensive Update” is the topic of the 3rd Annual Mood Disorders Symposium, to be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at UC Health Drake Center, 151 West Galbraith Road (45216).

The symposium, which will be held in the Conference Center at Drake, is targeted to mental health professionals and offers continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, medical residents and social work professionals.

It will be presented by specialists at the Mood Disorders Center at the University of Cincinnati Gardner Neuroscience Institute, one of four institutes of the UC College of Medicine and UC Health.

•    Bipolar Disorder in Youth: Identifying Risk and Preventing Relapse
•    Advances in Understanding the Neurobiology of Bipolar Disorder
•    Advances in Treating Phases of Bipolar Disorder
