meditate on beachThis month’s lecture series discusses the art and science of facial surgery as well as the role of complementary medicine in self healing. The evening begins with Ryan Collar, MD, talking about how he helps patients with facial deformities (due to cancer or injury) achieve a sense of well being by recreating facial features, balance and symmetry. Next, Geraldine Wu, MD, will discuss how to improve self care and healing through the practices of yoga, meditation and mindfulness. She’ll also share how these forms of complementary medicine have been proven effective in managing the symptoms of certain medical conditions.

The lecture series will take place Thursday, May 22, 6:30-8:30 pm, in the education room at the UC Health Women’s Center on our West Chester campus. Reservations are required. Please call (513) 475-UC4U if you have any questions.
