May 24 Wine Tasting Shaping Up To Be a Premium Party

With the third annual Wine Tasting benefit just three days away, Event Chair Rich Seal and the UC Brain Tumor Center’s leadership team wish to thank our sponsors and to invite those who have not yet signed up to please do so!

The event, to be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Myers Alumni Center on the UC campus, will feature fine wines, a premium wine tasting, and a silent and live auction. Tasting wines will be available for purchase and delivery. WLW700 personality Doc Rodgers will be our emcee, and we will hear a story of healing from brain tumor survivor Thomas Blankenmeyer.

Friends of the Brain Tumor Center will have much to choose from in our auctions. Our live auction item is an evening of dinner, fine wine and music in the garden with UCNI Clinical Director John M. Tew, MD, and his wife, Susan, and Linda and Rich Seal.
Silent auction items include dozens of excellent wines as well as:

  • a signed Jeff Runquist 3L Barbera, one of only 20 bottles produced
