Stroke Team Members See More Patients with Telestroke Robots

Time is of the essence when it comes to stroke, and people who aren’t in close proximity to specialists could suffer greatly. Dr. Aaron Grossman and other members of the UC Stroke Team now have the ability to examine more patients suffering a stroke than in previous years, thanks to the UC Health Telestroke Network. The program allows the UC Stroke Team to examine patients through robots that extend beyond what geography allows. In the case of stroke, saved time equals saved lives; the UC Health Telestroke Network is doing just that.
