Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care

151 West Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45216 | (513) 418-2500

Volunteers add to the quality of our health care by providing services that supplement professional staff activities and add to the comfort, care, and happiness of our patients.

As a volunteer, you are a key member of our quality health care team and enjoy the feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction that come from it. Volunteers work in a specific hospital area for at least two hours per week on the day or days of their choice. Each person is assigned a supervisor who lends help and gives direction.

We accept volunteers ages 14 and up.

For more information, call the volunteer office at 513.418.2522.

Team C.A.R.E.: A unique volunteer opportunity

Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care actively recruits graduate and doctoral students in psychology, social work, or pastoral care to meet on a regular basis with referred patients. Because many of our patients are recovering from catastrophic injuries or illnesses, they often stay with us for up to four weeks (and some even longer). The need for patient psychosocial counseling, to supplement the work of our in-house Medical Psychology Department staff, is great. We provide an intensive training program for all Team C.A.R.E. volunteers. If you would like more information about this critically important (and rewarding) volunteer opportunity, please contact our Volunteer Services Department.
