Alex Moseley, MD, subspecializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging, specifically echocardiography and cardiac MRI, with an interest in structural heart disease.
He explains that echocardiography, in addition to being an essential diagnostic tool in many cardiac conditions, is an integral part of percutaneous valvular heart disease interventions. The expansion of cardiac MRI has allowed physicians like himself to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of cardiac diseases more accurately.
Dr. Moseley practices evidence-based medicine, tailoring plans to the unique characteristics of each of his patients.
To Dr. Moseley, In Science Lives Hope is an important motto that reflects his personal practice style.
“To me, it means that applying the best scientific data available in testing and treatments leads to the opportunity for better long-term health, and more importantly, quality of life in those for whom we care,” he says.
Outside of the health system, Dr. Moseley, enjoys the outdoors, distance running and being active with his family.
