John  Quinlan, MD

Dr. John Quinlan is the medical director of the Neuromuscular Center at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience institute and has been a neurologist with UC Health since 1987.  He began at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 1987 as the director of Undergraduate Education, director of the Electromyography Laboratory and the co-director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic.  

In 1988 and 1992, Dr. Quinlan was the director of the EMG/Neuromuscular Fellowship Program at the hospital, and in 1994 he became the director of the Residency Program in Neurology, a position he held for seven years.  In 2000 Dr. Quinlan took over as the director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic, and in 2005 he became a professor of Neurology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
