The goal of UC Health Integrative Medicine is to help the whole person achieve overall wellness. Acupuncture sessions encourage the body to naturally heal itself by rebalancing qi, the life force that enlivens body, mind and spirit.
Fine needles are placed in points to restore balance and nourish the essential functions of the organs. Research has shown it to be helpful for many conditions, including pain syndromes, cancer treatment-related side effects, gastrointestinal disorders, addictions and headaches.
Acupuncture Therapy sessions are held weekly on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sessions are held in the UC Health Physicians Office South, 4th Floor, and are conducted by Martyn Thomas, a licensed acupuncturist.
Acupuncture Therapy sessions are by appointment only. Please contact us at (513) 475-9567 to schedule.
