West Chester Hospital Summer Educational Health Program – In conjunction with Cancer Support Community

West Chester Hospital is partnering with Cancer Support Community to offer a monthly educational health series featuring physicians and other health care professionals who will speak about a variety of cancer-related topics.

“Fireside Chat about Cancer Survivorship” – Edward Crane, MD, oncologist, West Chester Hospital

Your treatment is complete and you are officially a cancer survivor. While it’s something to celebrate, you may feel mixed emotions. Finishing treatment is a major life transition and means that you’ll be searching for a “new normal” minus trips to the doctor and the hospital. Fatigue will lessen and energy will increase. You may find yourself worrying about recurrence and trying to balance that with the knowledge that you are in good health. Dr. Ed Crane, a medical oncologist at West Chester Hospital, will lead an honest and forthright discussion about survivorship and how to transition to a life that is cancer free.
