West Chester Hospital has partnered with Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky to offer an educational health series featuring physicians and other health care professionals who will speak about a variety of cancer-related topics.

When first diagnosed with cancer, we can be overwhelmed with a variety of painful emotions – – fear, anger, anxiety, sadness, loss of control, and more. Am I going to die? What will happen to me and to my family? The emotional impact of cancer can impact the quality of our lives in many ways. Licensed clinical social worker, Jim Schwartz, MSW, LISW of Cancer Family Care will discuss with both patients and caregivers how to learn to navigate the emotional journey with cancer.
