Free community seminar
The term “lung disease” refers to a wide array of disorders that affect the lungs, including COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), infections like influenza, pneumonia and tuberculosis, lung cancer and many other breathing problems.
To further educate the community about lung health, West Chester Hospital is offering free asthma, allergies and lung disease seminars to the community this month.
During the seminars, the following questions will be explored: How do our lungs work and why are breathing disorders so common? How does environment and geographic location affect the health of our lungs? What are the most common breathing disorders and how are they treated? What is lung cancer and how do you identify early warning signs? What are common medical and surgical treatments for lung cancer?
Choose the session which best suits your schedule.
Wednesday November 19 – 7 to 8:30 p.m. or Saturday November 22 – 9 to 10:30 a.m.
