Treatments & Services

Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology

In partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, UC Health promotes health and fertility in girls and young women through our Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology program, one of the first of its kind in the U.S.  The diagnosis, medical and surgical management of female reproductive health problems from infancy through young adulthood takes specialized management. That’s why our approach is family-centered, sensitive, and treats patients with the most careful compassion.

Gynecologic Oncology

More than 88,000 women each year are diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer. At UC Health, patients with cancers of the reproductive system receive the most advanced medical and surgical treatments available. Our team of gynecologic oncologists is uniquely qualified to provide you with cutting-edge cancer treatments—both medical and surgical—and advanced pelvic surgery to give you the best outcome possible.

Urogynecology

If you’re suffering with a pelvic floor disorder—vaginal pain, incontinence, the bulging of pelvic organs into the vagina, voiding difficulties—don’t stop living your life. Our UC Health urogynecology specialists can help. We know exactly what you’re going through, what you’re feeling and how to manage or cure the condition. We help you understand the treatment options that will free you from pain and embarrassment, including medication, physical therapy and surgery.

Infertility

Only the UC Health Center for Reproductive Health provides comprehensive patient care and infertility research in the Cincinnati area. No one else has our ability to apply a personalized approach to the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and fertility issues. We’ve helped thousands of patients conceive successfully. In fact, our success rates are known to meet or exceed national averages. We even have dedicated counselors to help you research financing options for treatment.

Midlife Women’s Health

No two women experience menopause the same way. For some, the symptoms are mild. While others may suffer mood swings, memory loss, weight gain and sleep disturbances. UC Health now has physician specialists to help you manage your menopause symptoms. This newly created division aims to be the regional leader in treatment and patient education, as well as training residents in OB/GYN, internal medicine and family medicine. Thanks to the UC Health Midlife Women’s Health division, more women can look forward to midlife with relief.
