Tomorrow, December 11th 2017, marks a momentous milestone for UC Health and the UC College of Medicine. Providing transplantation excellence to the Cincinnati region for half a century, UC Health is honored to pause in recognition of the life-saving efforts of our transplant pioneers, care teams, transplant recipients and donors.
In celebration of the anniversary, an event was hosted commemorating the contributions and advancements of Cincinnati’s most comprehensive transplant program.
Thanks to sponsors including Life Center, UC Health, UC College of Medicine and Kroger, guests were given an opportunity to peruse a premiere Transplant Gallery featuring powerful stories about our inspirational transplant recipients and their families, compassionate donors and the brilliant, dedicated experts of UC Health’s globally recognized transplant program.
UC Health and the UC College of Medicine is forever grateful for the contributions made thus far on our journey to fifty years of transplantation. As we approach the fiftieth anniversary, we look forward in anticipation of new and innovative breakthroughs in surgery, medicine, research and post-operative care.
