Dr. Kuhlman is a neurologist specialized in movement disorders with a
focus in diagnosis and management of Parkinson's disease, atypical
parkinsonism, cerebellar ataxia, tremor, and dystonia. He has a clinical
interest in advanced treatment of movement disorders including surgical
treatments such as deep brain stimulation as well as a clinical focus
and research interest in patient and care-partner education. He was born
and raised in Cincinnati where he also completed medical school at the
University of Cincinnati after which he traveled to Charlottesville,
Virginia for adult neurology residency training at the University of
Virginia then to Toronto, Ontario where he finished a two-year
fellowship program in movement disorders at the Toronto Western Hospital
Movement Disorders Clinic. He is the recipient of the Edmond J. Safra
Fellowship in Movement Disorders.
