Quinn M. Nguyen, MD
Instructor of Clinical
Specialties
Department
Anesthesiology
Quinn Nguyen, MD, is a Cincinnati, Ohio, native who specializes in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine, specifically: low back pain; knee, hip and shoulder pain; neck pain; TMJ; and facial pain.
He trained in interventional and chronic pain because he finds it fulfilling to focus on improving the quality of life of patients suffering from daily joint and back pain. He finds it rewarding when a patient returns with improved functionality and energy because of the plan they put in motion together.
During the COVID-19 pandemic and a portion of his fellowship training, he volunteered for two months of inpatient and intensive care unit (ICU) care when New York City’s healthcare systems were overwhelmed.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys woodworking, traveling and snowboarding.
Dr. Nguyen is a former patient of the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. He was featured in UC Health’s Discover Hope Campaign, where he shared his journey of being diagnosed with and battling cancer during his residency training – and how his experience has impacted him as a physician today.
