Debra Hampton Named Senior Site Executive at Drake Center

CINCINNATI—January 3, 2012—Debra C. Hampton, PhD, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been named Vice President/Administration and Chief Nursing Officer at Drake Center. Hampton will also serve as Drake’s Senior Site Executive.

Hampton has been a proven and valuable member of the senior leadership team since joining Drake Center in January 2011. With more than 35 years as a clinician and administrator, she was formerly Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at a regional hospital in Eastern Kentucky. She has also held numerous leadership positions at St. Joseph Health System in Lexington, including Director of Nursing.

In addition to serving at Drake Center, Hampton is a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She has written for numerous nursing publications and is a member of many professional organizations. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, and her master’s in nursing and PhD from the University of Cincinnati. She is a certified nurse executive.
