Free Foot Health Seminars Hosted by West Chester Hospital August 15 & 26

Did you know that each foot on the human body has 26 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 tendons, muscles and ligaments? Further, by age 50, most Americans have walked approximately 75,000 miles according to the American Podiatric Medical Association. With these facts in mind, it is not surprising that many people will experience some type of foot problem during their lifetime.

To help our community better understand foot disorders and learn about available treatments, West Chester Hospital is offering free foot health seminars for the community. During these seminars, the region’s leading podiatrists will answer the following questions:

• What are the most common sources of foot discomfort?
• What are the most effective treatments/remedies?
• How does one keep his/her feet healthy and happy as they age?
• How do chronic health conditions such as diabetes, vascular disorders and arthritis affect our feet?
• What are common procedures used to treat foot issues that result from chronic health conditions or illnesses?
• When is it time to consider surgery?
