Free Healthy Holiday Cooking Demo During Diabetes Support Group Meeting – December 2

As part of its free diabetes support group offered monthly to the community, West Chester Hospital will host a free healthy holiday cooking demonstration on Tuesday, December 2 for individuals with diabetes and those who have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic.

Presented by West Chester Hospital registered dietitians and the hospital’s executive chef, the support group begins at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria, and will last until 7:30 p.m. The demonstration will feature an array of healthy holiday appetizers that attendees will be invited to sample. A registered dietitian will offer tips for healthy cooking during the holiday season and throughout the year, and a certified diabetes nurse educator will provide tips on managing diabetes during the busy holiday travel season.

The West Chester Hospital diabetes support group serves as a free forum for sharing and discussion, and features guest speakers periodically. For more information about the support group and to reserve your seat for the cooking demonstration, please call (513) 298-SUGR (7847) or visit UCHealth.com/wchevents.
