Free Joint Pain Seminars Offered at West Chester Hospital on April 26 and 30

Joint pain is a widespread complaint among adults of all ages and activity levels. As one grows older, however, painful joints become increasingly more common and can range from simply annoying to debilitating, often impairing a person’s ability to fully enjoy life.

West Chester Hospital will present two free joint pain seminars featuring the region’s leading orthopaedic specialists who will address pain in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip and knee. Attendees will learn vital information about preventing joint injuries, as well as common causes of pain and various treatment options, from simple exercises to surgery.

In addition, this seminar will feature a special “Meet & Greet” session with former Cincinnati Reds pitcher, Mo Sanford, whose professional baseball career also included seasons with the Colorado Rockies and the Minnesota Twins. Sanford now works with hundreds of local pitchers, and has been recognized as one of the top pitching instructors in the Midwest. He will be available at the seminar to share an athlete’s tips about how to keep joints in top form.

WHEN: Saturday, April 26, 9–11 a.m.
The seminar will be repeated on Wed., April 30, 7-9 p.m.
WHERE: West Chester Hospital, Plaza Conference Room (level A)
7700 University Drive West Chester, Ohio 45069
