Free Pelvic Floor & Bowel Disorders Seminars Offered at West Chester Hospital on July 26 & 30

Millions of Americans suffer from pelvic floor disorders and/or bowel dysfunction and for many, these conditions can go unidentified and untreated. Today, pelvic organ prolapse and bowel conditions are no longer the “hush-hush” topics as in years past. Today, these sensitive topics are receiving more public attention and open discussion than ever before.

In response to this need for information, West Chester Hospital will present two free seminars this month featuring physician specialists who will discuss diagnosis and treatment of the most common pelvic floor disorders and bowel disorders.

A variety of questions will be addressed, including: What are the typical signs and symptoms of pelvic floor disorders? What conditions are associated with pelvic floor dysfunction? What are the most common bowel disorders? How does pelvic floor dysfunction connect to bowel disorders? How are pelvic floor and bowel disorders diagnosed and treated, both medically and surgically, including robotic surgery? How can physical therapy treatment be helpful before and after surgery?

WHEN: Saturday, July 26, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The seminar will be repeated on Wednesday, July 30, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: West Chester Hospital, Plaza Conference Room (Level A), 7700 University Drive, West Chester, Ohio 45069

Space is limited for this free event. Seats can be reserved by visiting UCHealth.com/WestChesterHospital or by calling (513) 298-3000. Light refreshments will be available.
