West Chester Hospital Offers Free Back Pain Seminars on May 17 and 21

Back and neck pain affects up to 80 percent of Americans at some point during their lives and can result from disc degeneration, arthritis, infections, inherited conditions, accidents or injuries. To help people better understand the many sources of back pain and a solution to ease the associated pain, West Chester Hospital is hosting two free educational seminars.

The region’s leading spine physicians will discuss spine and neck anatomy, common back and neck injuries, causes of chronic pain, and the latest, minimally-invasive medical and surgical treatments available to alleviate the pain. Topics to be discussed will include: how aging affects the back, sources of pain and diagnosing the problem, warning signs of more serious problems, common back injuries and minimally-invasive treatments available.

WHEN: Sat., May 17, 9–10:30 a.m.
The seminar will be repeated on Wed., May 21, 7-8:30 p.m.
