West Chester Hospital and Artis Senior Living of Mason have partnered to bring support, education and information to the adult children and caretakers of older adults who may have a memory disorder.
The two organizations are offering a free educational program, “Early Warning Signs of Memory Disorders: When to Talk to Your Family Physician,” on Wednesday, March 11.
This program features a presentation by a UC Health West Chester Hospital primary care physician who will discuss the early warning signs of memory disorders. Other questions that will be answered include: At what age can one begin to experience a problem with memory? What is the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s disease? When should you consult a physician regarding a possible memory problem? What are the next steps for treatment? How can one enjoy a meaningful life when dealing with a memory disorder?
