Effect Of Fasting On Liver Blood Sugar Response In Healthy Adults

The purpose of this research study is to assess how liver sugar content affects responses to low blood sugar in healthy adults. For this study, we want to learn how both fasting (not eating) and eating a meal influence the body’s ability to respond to low blood sugar. This study will involve three visits, a screening visit and two full day visits (12 hours each, 1-2 weeks apart).

Criteria:

Healthy Adult, Non-Obese, Males And Females Ages 21-40 Years Of Age May Be Eligible To Participate In This Research Study. For More Information About Eligibility, Contact A Member Of The Study Team.
