The study of proximal junctional kyphosis remains a challenge for adult spine deformity surgeons. The intention of the sublaminar band study is to prospectively measure its effect in the context of proximal junctional kyphosis. In principle, the sublaminar bands and other techniques can provide a transition from a stiff pedicle screw construct to help offset proximal junctional kyphosis.

Criteria:

Patients Undergoing Multilevel Thoracolumbar Fusion In The Setting Of Degenerative Disease And Adult Spine Deformity.

Keywords:

Proximal Junctional Kyphosis, Sublaminar Bands, Jazz Bands
