Don’t try to wish the problem away—we can help.
A sexual health issue may leave you feeling embarrassed and frustrated — surely nobody else has a problem like this! But nothing could be further from the truth. About 50 percent of women will experience a sexual problem at some point in their lives. In fact, there are many things in your life that can lead to sexual problems, including medical conditions, behavioral health issues, medications, and even menopause. Above all else, seek help if you’re having a sexual health issue, because left untreated, sexual problems can have a profoundly negative impact on your overall quality of life.

Stay on Top of Screenings
At the Women’s Center, primary care and multi-specialty providers collaborate to address the whole person—both their emotional and physical well-being and understand the importance of incorporating both into the treatment, prevention and wellness services we offer. Gynecologic problems can surface at any age, from birth through adulthood. But as women age health screenings become more important. There’s a higher risk of colon and skin cancer and heart disease, changes in metabolism and a stepped-up need for cholesterol, thyroid and diabetes screening, bone density testing and more.
