Dedicated Emergency OB Treatment Team
Every pregnancy has some risk of problems. The causes can be conditions already present or conditions that develop during pregnancy. They also include women expecting multiples, complications during previous pregnancy or advanced maternal age. Our team is made up of providers from different specialties all working together to help patients experience the healthiest pregnancy and delivery:
- OB/GYN physicians
- Maternal-fetal specialists for high risk pregnancies
- Labor and delivery registered nurses experienced in high risk pregnancy, social services, case management
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Dedicated OB Anesthesiologists specializing in pain management
- Collaboration with specialists including cardiology, pulmonology, surgery, psychology, addiction
Conditions We Treat
There are a number of situations that might arise during a pregnancy. Some situations may require an emergency evaluation such as:
- Vaginal bleeding-hemorrhage
- Abdominal pain
- Shortness of breath, chest pain
- Pre-term labor, labor
- Rupture of membranes
- Elevated blood pressure, pre-eclampsia
- Headache, nausea/vomiting
- Seizures, diabetes, asthma
- Breast conditions, GI problems, bladder infections, urinary tract infections
