UC Health COVID-19 Community Testing Center Moves from Drive-Thru to In-Office

Feb. 15, 2022

In-office testing will now be provided on the Clifton and West Chester campuses.

CINCINNATI — UC Health’s COVID-19 Community Testing Center has transitioned from a drive-thru setting to a permanent in-office setting, effective Tuesday, Feb. 15.

The temporary drive-thru testing center opened on Jan. 11 and was intended to meet an urgent need in the community for expanded access to COVID-19 testing. The center was staffed by UC Health employees and 10 non-clinical members of the Ohio National Guard, whose deployment ended on Monday, Feb. 14.

Beginning Feb. 15, UC Health will provide no-out-of-pocket cost COVID-19 testing at in-office clinics on its Clifton and West Chester campuses:

  • UC Health - West Chester Campus In-Office COVID-19 Testing Clinic
    Physician’s Office-South: 7675 Wellness Way, Suite 301, West Chester, OH 45069
  • UC Health - Clifton Campus In-Office COVID-19 Testing Clinic
West Medical Office Building: 3120 Burnet Ave., Suite 202, Cincinnati, OH 45229

Community appointments can be made either via MyChart (My UC Health) or by calling 513-41-VIRUS.

Appointments are encouraged, but not required for community members (the public) age 2 and older.

UC Health employees and patients who already have an order from a UC Health provider to receive a COVID-19 test at one of UC Health’s in-office clinics should only visit a testing clinic for these purposes on the exact day, time and location specified on their individual test order.

Testing hours may vary.

There is no out-of-pocket cost, but individuals are asked to bring a valid insurance card. You do not need to be an Ohio resident to get tested.

The PCR test results will be available within 24 to 36 hours. Results will be provided via My UC Health (MyChart). Individuals with a positive test result will receive a phone call if they have not accessed the test result via My UC Health.

UC Health has supported Greater Cincinnati’s response to COVID-19 throughout the pandemic, including by offering COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to the community. UC Health continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses, to members of the public in a clinical setting.
