UC Health COVID-19 Vaccination Center Moves to New Location Tuesday, May 25

May. 24, 2021

CINCINNATI — After four months in operation, UC Health’s COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center will move to a new location on Tuesday, May 25.

Vaccinations will now be provided at the UC Health West Professional Building located at 3120 Burnet Ave., Suite 105, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

COVID-19 vaccinations will no longer be provided at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute located on Bellevue Avenue. The UC Health COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center opened at that location on Jan. 19 to safely and quickly provide vaccinations in a drive-through setting. The location will now reopen for patient parking.

“We are proud to have provided more than 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to employees and community members since mid-December,” said Dustin J. Calhoun, MD, medical director of emergency management for UC Health and associate professor of emergency medicine at the UC College of Medicine. “This change will allow us to better serve our patients while continuing to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to every individual who wants one.”

At the new location, patients who arrive by vehicle can park for free in the South Garage and proceed to the vaccination center in the adjacent West Professional Building.

The UC Health COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center primarily offers the Pfizer two-dose vaccinations, the only COVID-19 vaccine currently authorized by the FDA for individuals under age 18. Minors seeking vaccination must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Johnson & Johnson (aka Janssen) single-dose vaccinations are offered at UC Health on Wednesdays, May 26 and June 2, 9, 16 and 23.

Appointments are recommended, but not required. Visit My UC Health or call 513-584-DOSE (3673) to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination.
