Dr. Douglas Dembinski is an Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati and a dedicated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at UC Health. He completed both his medical school and plastic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery and Breast Reconstruction at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
As a reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Dembinski is committed to addressing complex issues across the body with particular expertise in breast reconstruction (including autologous methods), general cancer reconstruction, limb salvage, and body contouring. His work is focused on restoring both form and function for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Dr. Dembinski's research spans a variety of topics, including breast reconstruction outcomes, complex cancer reconstruction, and surgical education. He is passionate about using his specialized skills to solve challenging reconstructive problems for his patients.
Notably, Dr. Dembinski is one of the few providers in the Midwest offering DIEP flap breast reconstruction. He works alongside an exceptional team, together providing comprehensive and innovative reconstructive care for the community.
