Erin Moushey, MD, joined UC Health in 2013 and is currently practicing family medicine at UC Health Primary Care Tri County location. Dr. Moushey’s office has been recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) at the highest level since 2012. Dr. Moushey received her formal residency training at University of Cincinnati / The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her Residency training Dr. Moushey had a special focus on caring for underserved populations through her time spent at Crossroad Health Center in Over the Rhine.
Dr. Moushey believes the primary care role is forming a partnership with the patient to help them navigate their health care needs along with coordinating their care with other providers. Dr. Moushey feels strongly about the importance of preventative care in optimizing health.
She sees both males and females of all ages, from birth to geriatrics and believes in establishing long term relationships with her patients. She also enjoys taking care of multiple family members, and feels that knowing more about the patient and their personal situation can only add to their level of care. She is able to perform basic gynecologic serves including cervical cancer screening, STD screening and female gynecologic exams for other acute issues.
Dr. Moushey grew up close by in Centerville, OH. She completed her undergraduate work at Miami University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and met her husband. She enjoys gardening, healthy cooking, online scrapbooking and taking walks around her neighborhood with her husband and son in her free time.
