Jay Nathwani, MD

Jay Nathwani, MD, is a general/trauma surgeon whose subspecialties include Trauma Surgery, Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

Dr. Nathwani completed Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. From there, he went on to complete his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in the focus area of General Surgery and his fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in the focus area of surgical critical care.

Dr. Nathani’s interests in trauma, acute care and critical care surgery take root in his passion for providing care to those in need of high-level decision making and advanced health care.

In addition, Dr. Nathwani is passionate about improving the teaching process. He believes excellent education is critical as a faculty to continually inspire high quality performance in trainees.

Outside of the health system, Dr. Nathwani loves to cook.
