Dr. Sabharwal is a surgeon who specializes in the treatment of patients with malignant and benign tumors of the musculoskeletal system, including bone and soft tissue sarcoma of the limbs and pelvis, metastatic bone disease, and peripheral nerve sheath tumors. After completing his surgical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he pursued fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His practice is focused on patients with complex problems requiring individualized solutions. He emphasizes interdisciplinary care, through collaboration with medical and radiation oncology, surgical pathology, and musculoskeletal radiology teams, both in day-to-day patient care and by participation in the UC Musculoskeletal Tumor Board, which he founded and directs.
