Dr. Ryan Gobble is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and UC Health in Cincinnati, OH. Before joining UC Health Dr. Gobble completed general surgery training at New York University Langone Medical Center in NY, NY and plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. In order to study cancer and its impact on the human body Dr. Gobble has also completed a surgical oncology research fellowship at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY, NY. Dr. Gobble is a dual board certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Surgery) specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Gobble’s surgical practice includes facial aesthetic surgery, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, facial reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and breast and body aesthetic surgery. Dr. Gobble applies the most current and technically challenging surgical techniques including microsurgery to achieve successful outcomes for his patients. Dr. Gobble is also extensively involved in both clinical and basic science research. Dr. Gobble’s research group is studying infection in implant based breast reconstruction and designing new techniques to prevent infection. Dr. Gobble has presented his research at numerous national and international meetings and published his research in the top research journals. He has also received multiple peer reviewed research grants. Dr. Gobble enjoys teaching medical students and residents about the field of plastic surgery and the impact it can have on a patient’s life.
