The Effects Of Tefillin On Markers Of Heart Function And Inflammation

This study will evaluate the effects of wearing tefillin (leather straps commonly worn by orthodox Jewish males during prayer) on markers of heart function and inflammatory markers in the blood. Participants will be randomized into groups that will wear tefillin for 30 minutes either once, two days or five days. Blood samples and heart function markers will be obtained at baseline and at the conclusion of the study.

Criteria:

Healthy People Over The Age Of 18 That Are Currently Not Taking Any Prescribed Medication.
