Optimizing Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Sampling For Adequate Cytology Specimens

The primary goal of this quality improvement project will be to identify factors that could be contributing to inadequate specimens . Secondary goals include targeting education to improve adequacy rates based on factors identified contributing to suboptimal sampling. A follow-up assessment of adequacy rates would be performed to assess the efficacy of the educational intervention.
