This study is a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled trial of the FlowTriever System plus anticoagulation compared to anticoagulation alone for intermediate-risk acute PE. The goal of the FlowTriever System is to restore RV outflow through the pulmonary artery, thereby disrupting the potentially lethal cascade towards hemodynamic collapse. There remains a strong clinical need to develop a reliable, rapid, percutaneous method of thrombus removal for the treatment of clinically significant acute PE.
Criteria:
Symptom Onset Within 14 Days Of Confirmed Pe Diagnosis
Keywords:
