UC Health's Administrative Fellowship program is a one-year opportunity available for Masters-level graduates and Masters candidates in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, and Public Health. This robust program will equip the Fellows with the practical skills and experience needed to face the challenges of healthcare leadership.
In this program, they will:
- Take part in hands-on, substantive projects that foster the development of verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Have the opportunity to translate academic theory into practice.
- Satisfy requirements for their master’s program and/or post-graduate training programs.
University of Cincinnati Medical Center
- Regions only Academic Medical Center
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Project-based and exposes the Fellow to all parts of the hospital and systems-level operations of the academic health system. Fellow will lead real-time operational, financial, and strategic projects.
Chief Clinical Officer Office
- Rotational experience with a focus on project management and performance improvement
- Focused on key support areas across the enterprise including Patient Safety, Performance Improvement, Accreditation, Population Health, Patient and Family Experience, Infection Prevention and Project Management
- This position is not specifically geared towards financial analysis/projects or day-to-day core clinical operations.
Physician Network
- Project-management and business operations-based role
- Partnership with the VP of Ambulatory Operations for UC Health’s Physician Network
- Support the overall portfolio of the Physician Network and Ambulatory operations which spans 15 departments, 25 divisions and 8 unique sites of care
West Chester Hospital
- Community hospital of the larger academic health system
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- On-campus surgery center and ambulatory buildings
- Project-based and exposes the Fellow to all parts of the hospital and systems-level operations of the academic health system. Fellows will lead real-time operational, financial, and strategic projects.
Chief Administrative Officer Office
- A comprehensive experience focused on administrative support services, including strategy & business development, legal and compliance, risk management, marketing and communications, and payer relations
- Focused on supporting the top strategic needs for the organization, projects and responsibilities that will require partnership and support of both executive and operational leaders across the health system.
