UC Health partners with local K–12 schools to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals, through engaging career education and exploration opportunities. Our programs are designed to introduce students to the dynamic world of healthcare and help them envision future career paths. We offer a variety of onsite experiences that provide students with firsthand exposure to the healthcare environment, as well as offsite programming that brings healthcare education directly to classrooms and community settings.

Onsite Experiences:

  • “Lunch and Learn” Sessions
  • Guest Speakers and Career Panels
  • Clinical Observations

Offsite & In-School Programming:

  • Guest Speaker Visits
  • Simulation Events
  • Participation in Career Fairs
  • Classroom Presentations

  Career Journeys Program:

  • Open to high school students grades 9-12
  • September – March
  • Two Tuesdays each month
  • 6-8pm
  • Applications accepted May-July
  • Healthcare and related speakers
  • Exposure to a variety of clinical and non-clinical healthcare jobs
  • Simulation Events
  • Classroom Presentations
