Michael Donaworth, MD

Michael Donaworth, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a UC Health physician. He is associate program director of the UC Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship as well as medical director for the UC Athletic Training Program. He is board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Donaworth is a graduate of the UC College of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at Ohio State Universitys Wexner Medical Center where he served as a co-chief resident. His completed his fellowship training at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center in primary care sports medicine where he covered UC Athletics, the Cincinnati Cyclones and various high schools in the region. Dr. Donaworth currently serves as a team physician for UC Athletics and is co-medical director of the Western Southern Open. He also serves as part of the medical team for the Flying Pig Marathon and is the team physician for Campbell County High School.
