Lester S. Duplechan, MD, earned his Bachelors Degree from California State University, Northridge, in 1986. He earned his medical degree from UCLA/Charles Drew School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his medical internship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California and his PMR residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as physical medicine and rehabilitation chief resident in 1994. Dr. Duplechan is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a subspecialty certification in pain medicine. He is also board certified in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine[EMG]. Dr. Duplechan is currently the Interim Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He has special interests in musculoskeletal disorders, sports medicine, interventional and conservative spine care, EMG, peripheral nerve injuries, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
