Dr. Florczynski’s blended experience in orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery and microsurgery equips him with unique technical and clinical solutions to restore patients’ hand, wrist and upper extremity function. He specializes in fracture fixation, peripheral nerve surgery, tendon transfers and arthritis treatment.
His specific areas of interest include compressive neuropathies, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome, peripheral nerve injuries and reconstruction, including nerve transfers and tendon transfers, hand trauma and reconstruction, and arthritis surgery.
Research has been an important part of his training both in orthopaedic surgery and when he obtained his master's degree. Dr. Florczynski was involved in smaller prospective, non-randomized studies and assisted in recruitment of patients for clinical trials. During his fellowship, he studied and wrote about the unique challenges faced in designing clinical trials in surgery. He believes that clinical trials are a key driver in evidence-based medicine and important for advancing the field.

Dr. Florczynski speaks fluent English, French and Polish.
Outside of clinic, he enjoys activities involving sports and fitness.
