Norman Gilinsky, MD

Norman Gilinsky, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He trained at the University of Cape Town and The Middlesex Hospital in London, England. Throughout his career, Dr. Gilinsky has received many honors for his patient care efforts, including a leadership award from the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America. He has also been recognized by his peers as one of the top gastroenterologists in Cincinnati, as noted on numerous occasions in Cincinnati Magazine, Cincy Business Magazine, and a Top Doc by US News and World Report. He is Board Certified Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Apart from his clinical activities, Dr. Gilinsky has published numerous original articles, invited reviews and book chapters, and currently serves as a reviewer for publications in the United States and abroad. He has lobbied on Capitol Hill and at the State House in Columbus, Ohio, for health care issues related to gastroenterology. A past regional governor of the American College of Gastroenterology, Dr. Gilinsky also is an elected member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. In his spare time, Dr. Gilinsky enjoys hiking, sports, hanging out with family and friends and just putting his feet up.
