Veronica  Indihar, MD

Dr. M. Veronica Indihar is the Director of the Bronchiectasis Clinic and Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she also leads the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) Center. A specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine, Dr. Indihar is nationally recognized for her expertise in bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia. She is dedicated to improving quality of life for patients living with chronic respiratory diseases through comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. Under her leadership, the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center has maintained accreditation from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for more than 20 years, and in 2026, the Bronchiectasis Clinic was recognized as a CCN Bronchiectasis & NTM Association Associate Center.

Dr. Indihar earned her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed her Internal Medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. She went on to complete fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia, where she later served on faculty and as Co-Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. Since joining UC Health in 2014, she has led numerous clinical and research initiatives, serving as a Clinical Trial Site Principal Investigator for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) and as lead investigator for non–cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis clinical trials. Her work continues to advance innovative therapies and specialized care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions.
