He completed a one-year internship in the Department of Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland; a four-year residency in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland; one-year Orthopaedic Traumatology Fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland; three-month AO International Fellowship in Freiberg, Germany; and one-year Mid-American Traveling Fellowship at Rush University in Chicago.
He is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery; Subspecialty - Adult Reconstruction (2002).
