Mahyar Pourriahi, MD

Mahyar Pourriahi, MD is a practicing Cardiologist, with a special interest in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. 

Taking a patient-centric approach to cardiovascular care, Dr. Pourriahi believes in being there for every step of a patient’s journey, while also utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach working with a team of motivated and highly skilled physicians, surgeons, advanced practitioners, and nurses to provide this care.

His current research interest involves the utilization of data for clinical assessment and risk stratification in heart failure patients. 

Dr. Pourriahi is bilingual speaking both English and Persian fluently. Outside of the health system, his interests include traveling, trivia, reading, and playing backgammon.
