Stacey Ruth, CNP, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner in the surgery department at UC Health, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, burn and wound care.
As a provider in these complex areas, Stacey believes that every patient deserves compassionate, comprehensive, and individualized care. Whether injuries are earned through trauma, burns, surgical reconstruction, or chronic wounds, they can all profoundly impact a person’s function, comfort and sense of identity. Stacey’s goal is to guide each patient through their healing journey with expertise, empathy, and respect. She takes the time to walk her patients through their healthcare journey, whether the path is straightforward or challenging. Building meaningful connections and supporting patients through recovery is a privilege she values deeply. Through those journeys, the support she provides extends far beyond just the clinic visit. Stacey focuses on education, prevention and emotional support, all to ensure that her patients feel empowered, understood and never alone in their healing.
Collaboration is also central in Stacey’s practice. She works closely with primary care providers, wound care specialists, dermatologists, emergency medicine clinicians, and others to ensure each patient receives well-coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
Stacey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University, and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She sees patients in West Chester, Clifton and Florence.
Outside of work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her children, who are active in sports, traveling as a family, and creating homemade gifts for the people she loves.
