Leila Saxena, MD

Dr. Leila Saxena was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.  She returned to Chicago to attend Rush Medical College and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Providence Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan in 1999. After completing residency, Dr. Saxena practiced Family Medicine in Ypsilanti and then Holland, Michigan where she was in private practice for 7 years.  She and her family moved to Cincinnati in 2008.

Dr. Saxena cares for people of all ages from infants onward.  She likes to get to know her patients well in order to help them be as healthy as possible.  She enjoys working patients and their family to build a healthcare partnership to prevent illness.

She has been active with the University of Cincinnati’s Department of Family and Community Medicine teaching Family Medicine Resident’s as well as medical students at her office in Wyoming and in the classroom. When not caring for patients or teaching student’s, Dr. Saxena enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
